SharQui (pronounced Shar-Kee’) is not a traditional belly dance class, but a fitness class with authentic belly dance moves that are simplified then gradually layered together until you’re dancing a belly dance routine. Class starts with a gentle warm up, moving into low-impact belly dance cardio, and ends with a relaxing stretch. This is for everyone who wants fitness and fun in their workout. No dance experience is needed and you can take it at your own pace. Strengthen your core, build stamina, have fun, and feel fabulous! Class registrants will also receive a free hip scarf.

Introduction to Pickleball

You've heard the buzz- now experience the game. Learn the rules, scoring and gain a brief introduction to game play to see if this is a game for you. Court shoes required, other equipment provided; bring your own paddle.

Western Dance

Calendar Mar 20, 2024 at 7 pm, runs for 6 weeks

Tap your feet, get out of your seat—and on to the dance floor. Learn Country Western Swing with Variations, Two Step, Waltz, and Cotton Eyed Joe. Learn tricks and tips to dance as partners and gain the confidence to dance the night away while learning these popular dances. Signing up with a partner required. Wear non-marking athletic shoes (no boots in class). Appropriate for ages 16 and up.

MARCHA MONETTE began teaching western dance at San Juan College in the 1990s and also taught for Mojave Community College in Kingman, Arizona.

Pickleball Drills, Drills, Drills!
