only 3 seats left

Science surprises people both in the reaction that can be seen AND the explanation behind it. In this class for the older students, we continue to explore the wonder of science through experiments, games and demonstrations—all within the domain of physics. Specific topics include atomic structure, states of matter, density, motion, energy, and applied physics. Satisfy science-hungry students and take away exciting and original ideas for the science fair too. Dig deeper into the mysteries of physics and be sure to bring a journal to keep track of our experiments, new vocabulary, and data. As with previous classes, this class is offered in the morning and again in the afternoon, and students will be able to take home a number of projects and demonstrations. A $15 supply fee payable to instructor at the first class covers the supplies for these experiments and projects.
