Surprising Biology PM Session (ages 10-14)

Biology has interesting and diverse surprises for students—plants that protect themselves, animal swith a better memory than humans, and our lungs work…how?! This class continues in the Surprising Science class tradition and raises the bar for the older student. We continue to explore the wonder and science through experiments, games and demonstrations—all within the domain of biology. Satisfy science-hungry students and take away exciting and original ideas for science fair, too. Dig deeper into the mysteries of the human body, botany, animal science, and ecology. Be sure to bring a journal to keep track of our explorations, experiments, and new vocabulary. A $15 supply fee payable to instructor at the first class covers the supplies for these experiments and projects. Appropriate for ages 10-14.
